Summary
Adds a 2026-10-21 entry to docs/changelog/recent.mdx covering merchant and customer facing features merged to main between 1 September and 21 October.

Why
The changelog hasn't been updated since 1 September.
How
Candidates were taken from every commit merged to main in the window. Each one was checked against its diff, and the final selection was confirmed by hand. Items were left out on purpose for these reasons:
- Behind a feature flag: config as code and agent payments.
- Only in the unreleased 2027-01 API: external IDs and the credit API endpoints.
- Held for a separate launch: Polar CLI 2.0/3.0.
- Not included this time: the API version 2026-10 switch, portal quantity changes, and product deletion.
The new block contains no em or en dashes and doesn't name the payment processor.
