#8315 fix: OpenClaw agent setup snags: install hang, All servers keys, agent wizard

Why

Setting up an OpenClaw agent hit a run of snags. Our plugin started its hooks process inside short-lived OpenClaw CLI commands (2026.7.1 and similar), so the install hung. Agents also missed servers added later, and the wizard had rough edges.

What changed

Before

• openclaw plugins install hung after installing our plugin.
• The script always asked for a Gateway restart and to store SPEAKEASY_AGENT_KEY.
• An "All servers" key stored the servers that existed when it was issued.
• Ticking a remote server grew its row.
• Editing an agent's MCP Authentication step showed per-client blocks; saving assigned no connection.
• Manual OpenClaw setup was a long subshell.

After

• The plugin starts its hooks process on the first hook. hooksGeneratorVersion is bumped to republish it.
• Restart and key notes appear only when needed.
• An "All servers" key stores the project wildcard plus the owner's blocks.
• list_servers explains "unknown" and points to connection_status.
• Rows keep their height.
• Editing shows the same row as creating, and saving assigns your connection.
• Manual setup is one openclaw mcp add, with the key read from the environment.

1. Identity → Agents → New agent identity. Tick a remote server: its row keeps its height.
2. Open an existing agent → Edit → MCP Authentication: same row as when creating.
3. Install → Manual: the OpenClaw block is one command.
