Backend Configuration
Relevant source files
The following files were used as context for generating this wiki page:Introduction
This document outlines the expected backend configuration for the landing-emrgent project. As of the current analysis, no backend implementation files (e.g., backend/server.py) were available for review. Therefore, this documentation is inferred from the frontend React application, particularly its components, mock data files, and configuration.
The backend's primary responsibility is to serve the static React application build and provide a JSON-based API for dynamic content and form submissions. The current frontend implementation heavily relies on mock data, which serves as a contract for the expected API structure and behavior. The development plan indicates that these mock API calls will be replaced with actual backend endpoints.

Inferred Architecture
The system is designed as a classic client-server architecture. The frontend is a React application created with create-react-app, and the backend is expected to be an API server. During development, the React app runs on its own server (npm start), and in production, it is built into a set of static files (npm run build) that the backend server would serve.

The following diagram illustrates the anticipated interaction between the frontend and the backend.
This diagram shows the flow where the backend serves the initial React application and then handles subsequent API requests from the client.

Mocked API Endpoints
The backend's API is currently defined by mock objects and functions within the frontend codebase. This serves as a blueprint for the actual implementation. The primary mocked functionality is the contact form submission.

Contact Form Submission
The LandingPage component includes a contact form for booking a "Free Strategy Session". This form is expected to submit data to a backend endpoint.

The mock.js file defines a mock submission handler, mockFormSubmission, which simulates an asynchronous API call and returns a success response. This indicates the expected behavior of the real API endpoint.

Expected API Endpoint: POST /api/contact (Inferred)
| Parameter | Type | Description | Source File |
|---|---|---|---|
fullName | string | The user's full name. | frontend/src/components/LandingPage.jsx |
email | string | The user's email address. | frontend/src/components/LandingPage.jsx |
businessGoals | string | A message describing the user's goals and challenges. | frontend/src/components/LandingPage.jsx |
Sequence Diagram
This diagram shows the sequence of events for a form submission, as inferred from the mock implementation.
This flow is based on the mockFormSubmission function.

Inferred Data Models
The mock.js file contains several data structures that represent the models the backend is expected to manage and expose through its API. These include data for the coach, services, testimonials, and statistics.

Data Schema (ER Diagram)
The following ER diagram illustrates the inferred relationships between the data models based on the mock data structures.

Testing Protocol
The project includes a test_result.md file that defines a formal testing protocol. This protocol is used to track the implementation and working status of both backend and frontend tasks. It outlines a structured YAML format for logging task status, priority, and history, facilitating communication between development and testing. This indicates that any backend tasks will be subject to this structured testing and validation process.
