The Foundational Constitution establishes the core legal and philosophical framework for the Imperial Archive project. It defines the unchangeable principles that govern data protection, system evolution, and the absolute authority of the founder. These documents are classified as LOCKED_CANONICAL and require founder approval for any modification.

Core Articles of Governance
The constitution consists of six primary articles that dictate the behavior and limitations of the system and its agents.
| Article | Title | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Article 1 | The Origin is Sacred | Founding intent and story are non-commodifiable and cannot be rewritten. |
| Article 2 | The Child is Protected | Strictly prohibits child data from leaving designated folders or being exposed. |
| Article 3 | The Vision Leads | Mandates that technology serves the project vision, not vice versa. |
| Article 4 | The Founder Decides | Grants the founder final authority on all system matters. |
| Article 5 | The System Persists | Ensures survival through governance and recovery even in founder absence. |
| Article 6 | The Legacy Lives | Defines the system as generative and adaptive rather than a static museum. |

Authority and Precedence
The system operates under a strict hierarchy of truth and authority. The Founder holds absolute power to override any decision, while technological agents are restricted from overriding human governance.
The diagram represents the precedence of truth sources as defined in the governance model.

The Soul System Doctrine
The constitution is technically implemented through the "Imperial Doctrine" (Soul System). This YAML-based law enforces "Unlimited Imperial" standards, emphasizing resilience, knowledge, and legacy.
Supreme Law Statement
The Supreme Law declares that the system accepts all ideas and leaps that break familiar human visions "with extreme force." It covers multiple levels including scientific, technological, and spiritual domains.

Agent Growth and Restrictions
Agents must grow through renewal and solution-finding but are bound by the "One Body Policy." This policy forbids narcissism or fragmentation during system emergencies.
- Rejected Behaviors: External ideas, external partnerships, and limited evolution are strictly rejected.
- Construction Policy: Every assistant or agent requires a documented "fallback plan" or return path before implementation.

Vision and Functions
The constitution directs the system to perform nine core functions to maintain its status as a "Governed Living Knowledge Infrastructure."
- PRESERVE: Maintain the origin and sacred founding story.
- UNDERSTAND: Analyze data within the defined cognitive architecture.
- VERIFY: Ensure provenance and truth through the Source of Truth registry.
- CONNECT: Link strategic communication and long-term continuity.
- CREATE: Generate new capabilities from the existing ecosystem.
- GOVERN: Enforce the Authority Matrix and YAML Law of Infinity.
- EVOLVE: Allow infinite growth without breaking the nucleus.
- RECOVER: Enable persistence through defined recovery maps.
- TRANSFER: Facilitate legacy continuity.

Implementation of Sacred Intent
The "Wound to Transformation" narrative in the founding documents dictates the system's technical requirement for durability. The system must "not abandon" and must ensure "what happened to us will not happen to those who come after us."
This flow illustrates the transformation from foundational history to active system governance.

| Advisor | Advisory | Cannot execute, commit to main, or access child data. |

The Foundational Constitution serves as the "Steel Spine" of the Imperial Archive, ensuring that all technical growth in the 9 Professional Imperial Classes (TSC) remains tethered to the original intent and the absolute authority of the founder.
