Source Preservation & Release Gaps
Relevant source files

The Imperial Archive maintains a strict preservation and intake protocol for the Tamara Learning Program. This system ensures that original evidence, identity assets, and curriculum sources remain immutable and verified before any formal release. Currently, the project holds an INSTALLED_NOT_RELEASED status, indicating that while files are present in the repository, critical gaps prevent a production-ready lock.

Preservation Policy and Intake Logic
The repository enforces an immutable preservation rule: preserve_originals_never_overwrite. No source file may be deleted, silently renamed, or overwritten once it enters the projects/tamara-learning-program/ directory. Duplicate candidates are retained as historical evidence and classified within the intake inventory.

Intake Workflow
The system follows a specific sequence to move files from initial receipt to a released state.
This diagram illustrates the flow from initial file reception to the final release status, highlighting the verification gates.

Identified Technical Gaps
Technical gaps represent missing components or unverified configurations that block the transition to a formal release.
| Gap Category | Item Description | Status/Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Curriculum | Mathematics Execution Master | Not present in intake |
| Curriculum | Science Source Packages | Not present in intake |
| Curriculum | Arabic Source Packages | Not present in intake |
| Audio | Local Audio Masters | Required for durable packaging; currently external URLs |
| Audio | Audio Manifests | Required for archival |
| Provenance | Original Chat Files | Exact files must be committed in original form |

Identity Asset Requirements
Certain assets require explicit owner confirmation and cannot be redrawn or generated by the system. These are classified as SOURCE_ASSET_GAP when missing.
- IA-LATIFAH-SIGNATURE-001: Requires a real, approved independent signature asset.
- Imperial Archive Logo: Requires an independent approved source asset.
- Imperial Archive Official Seal: Requires an independent approved source asset.
- Cover Image: The current image is a candidate only and lacks rights review.

Release Blockers and QA Gates
A project cannot be released until all blockers are resolved. The following requirements are mandatory for the Tamara Learning Program:
- Commitment of Originals: All sources initially provided via chat must be committed as physical files to
source-original/. - Asset Metadata: Identity assets must include provenance, rights status, versioning, and a SHA-256 hash.
- Local Archival: External HeyGen audio URLs must be replaced with local masters or an approved delivery policy.
- QA Validation: All critical QA gates must pass as defined in the project reports.

Change Control Levels
Release gaps are addressed through the Change Control workflow. Any attempt to resolve a gap must be classified.
This sequence shows how gaps are resolved through the governance-approved change process.

Summary
The "Source Preservation & Release Gaps" status serves as the primary checklist for project completion. Until the curriculum sources (Math, Science, Arabic) are integrated and the identity assets (Signature, Seal, Logo) are verified as independent masters, the Tamara Learning Program remains in an intake state. This ensures the integrity of the Imperial Archive's educational mission by preventing the use of unverified or imitation assets.
